Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di SD Negeri 2 Ulak Embacang. Penelitian  menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dan dokumentasi. Implementasi adalah kegiatan yang dilakukakan untuk menilai, mengevaluasi dan mengukur apakah kebijakan tersebut dapat  berjalan dengan semestinya dan membutuhkan nilai atau tidak. Literasi merupakan  keterampilan penting  bagi anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Namun, tingkat literasi anak-anak di Indonesia masih rendah. Implementasi literasi yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 2 Ulak Embacang adalah membaca sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung, pojok bacaan literasi, game pendidikan  dan kunjungan perpustakaan. Kegiatan literasi tersebut dapat berjalan dengan baik, hal ini terlihat dengan adanya kegiatan peserta didik dapat membaca dengan lancar dan memahami teks. Akan tetapi di SD Negeri 2 Ulak Embacang  terdapat kendala dalam Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah yaitu masih ada siswa yang belum bisa membaca, terdapat anak berkebutuhan khusus dan masih kurangnya buku-buku bacaan di sekolah dasar.
