Pengembangan Media Smart Box Berbasis Digital untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik pada Materi Fotosintesis

Abstract
The development of digital-based smart box media to improve students' critical thinking skills on photosynthesis material aims to determine product manufacturing procedures, validity, effectiveness in improving critical thinking skills, media practicality, and to determine the increase in students' critical thinking abilities. This research is Research and Development (R&D) research. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. The subjects in this research were 26 class IV students at SD Negeri 01 Indralaya Selatan. The data collection techniques used were interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained shows that this media is valid and suitable for testing. The analysis results obtained from the media, material and learning practitioner validator questionnaires were stated to be very valid and the analysis results obtained from the student response questionnaire were stated to be very practical. Based on the test results using pretest and posttest questions, students' critical thinking abilities improved after learning to use the media that had been developed.
